I'm thinking of replacing the current preview image of Metro Uinvert Dock Icon Set (bottom image) to one more revealing (top)...

I like the darkened surroundings because I think it would draw more attention towards the ICONS and not the rest of it, plus I was getting a bit tired of the blue on top and green on bottom thing...

Please lend me your thoughts on the matter and tell me what you think I should do!! Thanks!!

That banner was originally gonna be a wallpaper but then I converted it to the banner haha. But I may consider it, I'll see how it goes!

your a much better vector designer then me :L but if you don't mind my opinion. however im not the biggest fan of reflection for metro, i like the bottom more, for layout purpose it seems more metro with the padding/spacing considering the layout and original design guidelines for metro.

Thanks, yea, I agree the original layout seemed to look more appealing, but I've changed the new image several times, I still may work on it more though. Are you saying to give the bg squares more adequate room and shrink the sizes of the icons?

Something about the boxes being a darker blue makes it annoying to the eye...
But it does look good. try a blackish wine-red for the boxes.

Being a GD major helps but it hurts too.
Especially when you see a swirly glossed wall of bright orange red and lime green.
