*OS Reqirements - Windows Vista/7 *Browser Requirements - Any version of Firefox 3 Yes the file is only an image but THERE IS A TUTORIAL IN THE DESCRIPTION!!! First off, to learn how to do this WITH COMMENTARY, check out my YouTube video on it here: [link] If you are running Windows Vista, this will not work when you are maximized unless you have enabled a hack for this! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Otherwise here is a WRITTEN TUTORIAL... First install Stylish here:[link] Then install this userstyle: [link] Then simply change some default color settings... Go to Menu Bar>Tools>Options>Content Tab>Colors and change text and link colors to whatever you prefer AND MAKE SURE TO CHANGE BACKGROUND COLOR TO BLACK!!!!! Then UNCHECK THE BOX THAT SAYS "Allow Pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above" then press OK and OK again and it should work!!!!!!!!
Also here is the wallpaper I'm using appropriately named 'Starlit Night' (non-original link): [link]

The first time I installed everything it worked but then I was unable to see where to change the colour on the windows to black. So I disabled it in my addons, changed the colour of the windows and settings as you said, then enabled it again. This time it did not work. I restarted firefox and it still did not work. So I uninstalled and reinstalled the style, with everything already set to black, and it still didn't work. So I uninstalled the entire thing, including the addon that runs the style, and reinstalled and enabled it with the windows set to black. It still did not work. I kinda get the feeling that I am looking over something important. I tend to be one of those "can't see the forest for the trees" types hehe
Hmm.. sorry if you've already tried this and I'm just being dumb but did you perhaps change your wallpaper to something lighter to where you can see the contents of the FF window? And are u running Windows Vista or Windows 7, because if it's Vista and maximized then it won't work...
I am running Windows 7. My wallpaper is bright red and when it was not working all I would see is the black of the window. At one point I got it working, but it was only on the drop menus.
sorry
